Last updated: 27 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-27
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, connecting an inbox, selecting “I agree”, or using Dayrun, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not connect an account or use the service.
2. Adult responsibility
Dayrun accounts are for adults who are legally authorised to manage the family and child information they provide. You remain solely responsible for decisions, supervision, pickups, transport, attendance, deadlines, payments, medical needs, emergency arrangements and the safety and welfare of children and other family members.
3. AI and information may be wrong
Dayrun may summarise, infer, classify or extract information from email, calendars, images, tables and other sources. Automated results may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, outdated, misread or incorrect. Dayrun does not guarantee that it will identify every message, change, cancellation, calendar, attachment, instruction or conflict.
You must verify critical information against the original school communication or directly with the school. This includes school opening and closure, pickup and dismissal arrangements, transport, medical and allergy information, emergency instructions, attendance requirements, payments, deadlines and anything affecting a child's safety.
4. No reliance
You use and rely on Dayrun at your own risk. Dayrun outputs are reminders and organisational suggestions only. They must not be treated as a substitute for the original communication, your own judgment, responsible adult supervision or confirmation from the relevant school or service provider.
5. Connected services
You authorise Dayrun to access connected services only within the permissions you approve. Third-party email, calendar, school and messaging services are outside Dayrun's control. Dayrun is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, delays, security, changes or failures.
6. Service supplied “as is”
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dayrun is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
7. Assumption of risk
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you assume the risks arising from use of Dayrun and from acting—or failing to act—on its outputs. You are responsible for maintaining your own checks, backups, calendars, emergency contacts and arrangements.
8. Limitation and exclusion of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dayrun and its owners, operators, officers, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss; loss of data, opportunity, revenue, goodwill or use; missed events, activities, deadlines, pickups, transport or payments; school absence; or any loss arising from inaccurate, delayed, incomplete or unavailable information.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Dayrun's total aggregate liability arising from the service will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Dayrun during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) AED 100, unless applicable law requires a higher amount or prohibits that limitation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, obligations or rights that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
9. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Dayrun against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your unauthorised provision of another person's information, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by Dayrun's own conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Acceptable use
You may not misuse Dayrun, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use the service to harm a child or another person.
11. Privacy and security
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. No disclaimer transfers Dayrun's legal data-protection and security obligations to the user.
12. Availability, changes and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. You may stop using Dayrun, disconnect accounts and request deletion. We may restrict access for misuse or where necessary to protect users, third parties or the service.
13. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction. The US company's exact registered legal name will be inserted before commercial launch.
14. Contact
Questions may be sent through the contact address published by Dayrun. A domain-based legal email will be added after the official domain is connected.
