Security and email permissions

Dayrun is designed for sensitive family and school information. Our approach begins with limiting access and making the purpose of every permission understandable.

Read-only connected access

Dayrun uses connected Google or Microsoft permissions to identify and organise school-related messages and calendar invitations. It is not designed to send, change or delete email. The exact permission screen from your provider remains the authoritative list of access you approve.

Data minimisation

We aim to collect only what is needed to produce family schedules, school reminders and relevant document storage. Information unrelated to the service is not used for advertising.

Technical safeguards

• Encryption in transit using modern HTTPS connections.
• Access controls intended to limit production information to authorised systems and personnel.
• Secure handling of connected-account tokens.
• Operational logging and monitoring designed to detect misuse and reliability problems.
• Periodic review of permissions and third-party providers.

Your security controls

You may disconnect a provider from Dayrun and can also revoke access from your Google or Microsoft account settings. You may request account and data deletion at any time.

Responsible reporting

If you believe you have found a security issue, email security@day-run.com. Please do not access, alter or retain another person's information while investigating.

Launch status

Dayrun is currently being prepared for early testing. This page will be expanded with verified infrastructure, retention and incident-response details before public commercial launch.
